Third Party

North Gallery, Yale School of Architecture

In collaboration with Brandon Lim & Khalid Hassan

Inspired by the dichotomy between the formal and the informal that Bo Bardi facilitates, our exhibitoin, Third Party, meditates on the position of the North Gallery within the Yale School of Architecture in relation to the adjacent main gallery.

Third Party aimed to serve as an informal space that allows for the unraveling of various events, non-events, gatherings, and aimless lingering in contrast to the main gallery, which in our expereince, has been more regimented and formal. The informality is underpinned by a lack of restrictions, free supplies, pin-up space, and a large table which may facilitate spontaneity.
